Good food starts at the source. We prioritise sourcing from local growers, building relationships with people who share our commitment to quality, seasonality and responsible production.
The seasons shape what we buy. Rather than demanding the same things year round, we embrace the changes each season brings and celebrate food when it's naturally at its best.
Alongside loca produce, we source a small number of products from further afield. These are chosen carefully, either because they cannot be produced locally or because they come from producers whose approach reflects the values we champion.
Our goal isn't to source locally for the sake of it, but to create a food system built on transparency, fairness and a genuine connection between food growers and consumers.


Producing food well has value, farmers and growers should be paid fairly for the work they do.
The producers we work with share our commitment to producing food responsibly. Many go beyond standard expectations, taking care of soil health, biodiversity, animal welfare and long term resilience. While every producers approach is different, they are united by a commitment to producing food with care, consideration and respect for the resources they depend on.
By supporting people who care, we're helping to create a food system that values not only what is produced, but how it is produced and who benefits from it.
BEYOND FRUIT AND VEG
We extend our sourcing beyond veg. We build relationships direct with dairy, meat, bread and dry foods producers who share our commitment to a better food system.
